Collection and recovery data

The collecting and recycling of waste glass is a perfect example of a sustainable business as waste glass is an important raw material for the production of new glass bottles and jars.

Economical benefits

The financial benefits for industry as well as citizens are evident: Waste glass used as a secondary raw material in glass production lowers demand for the more expensive primary raw materials needed to produce new glass. Further more recycling of waste glass is cheaper than depositing it.

Environmental benefits

Using waste glass instead of primary raw materials for the production of glass bottles and jars helps to protect the environment.
The savings of gas reduces CO2-emission. Therefore glass recycling helps to reach the targets after Kyoto-protocol.
